Grant Thornton was entrusted by the founders of Itsab to assist in the sale to Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational industrial company, which manufactures and delivers products and services in compressor technology, vacuum solutions, industrial tools and flow solutions. The transaction was completed in August 2025.

Itsab was founded in 1985 as a partner to Atlas Copco and sells as well as services equipment for customers in mining, construction and general industry. The company is headquartered in Luleå and has additional branches in Gällivare and Kiruna.
