The road to the stock market is based on knowledge
Are you and your company considering a stock market launch? If you are well prepared before initiating a listing process, and well informed about the requirements of listed companies, then there is much to gain.
Grant Thornton offers seminars and training for companies that are considering listing their shares on a stock exchange, or on another marketplace. Based on our experience, we can offer one or two hour discussions on the listing process from a board or management perspective.
Being well prepared is essential for an effective listing process. A company is ready for the stock market when listing requirements are met. In our experience, the preparatory work is sometimes underestimated, and this may interfere with the process for the management and advisors. We can conduct a briefing before a listing process based on our experience on common issues, and describe the listing requirements in general. Our briefing can be summarised in an action plan for the board and the management.
Hired by NASDAQ Stockholm
When a company wants to be listed, we perform an independent study to assess whether it is appropriate to list and approve the company's shares for trading on the stock exchange. NASDAQ Stockholm appoints an exchange auditor on their behalf, who in consultation with the exchange surveillance conducts these investigations. Jörgen Sandell, certified accountant at Grant Thornton, is one of the five auditors publicly appointed by NASDAQ Stockholm.
