Financial advisor to Wood Support

Prima Timber has acquired Wood Support 

Grant Thornton was entrusted by the founders of Wood Support to assist in the sale to Prima Timber, part of the Finnish family business Iivari Mononen Group, which focuses on the wood and impregnation industry in the Nordic region. The transaction was completed in April 2025, and the former owners will continue to be operational in Wood Support.

About Wood Support  

Wood Support was founded in 2000 and initially focused on trade and wholesale. For several years now, the focus has been on planing and impregnation of timber. The company has its own production facility in Säffle, outside Karlstad, and sales are primarily to Sweden and Norway.
