Vestum has acquired Marbit

After ten years under the same ownership, Marbit decided to embark on the next growth journey and believed it would be best to do so with a professional partner. Grant Thornton acted as financial advisor, and in March 2022, the sale was completed, and Vestum became the new owner.

About Marbit

Marbit was founded in 1986 and has established itself as a leading player in the development, maintenance, and improvement of Stockholm's parks, streets, and squares. The company specializes in two closely related business areas, landscaping and outdoor environments, and targets both the private and public sectors. The company is headquartered in Stockholm and operates throughout the Greater Stockholm area.

Had we tried to make this transition on our own, we would not have achieved such a good result and probably wouldn't have even reached the finish line. The entire process has structurally matured the company. We have learned a lot along the way, and it has been worth all the money and time spent. Additionally, we have been able to continue running the business as usual throughout the sales process, which has been both cost- and time-efficient
