Kesko Sverige has acquired Djurbergs Järnhandel

Grant Thornton acted as financial advisor in the sale to Kesko, which was completed in September 2022. The company will become part of Kesko Sweden's nationwide building materials chain K-Bygg. The CEO of Djurbergs Järnhandel will continue to lead the operations in Söderköping.

About Djurbergs Järnhandel

Djurbergs Järnhandel operates within the hardware trade in its own premises in Söderköping. The company was founded in 1871 by the Djurberg family and was sold in 2003 to the previous owner family.

I look forward to leading K-Bygg in Söderköping and developing the offering to our customers in Östergötland together with all the talented colleagues. It feels really exciting to put K-Bygg on the map in Söderköping.
