Doktor.se has acquired Caspien Vårdteam

The owner of Caspien Vårdteam planned to gradually reduce their operational involvement in the business but wanted to find the right party to maintain the company's market position. Grant Thornton assisted the owner in the sale to Doktor.se, a transaction that was completed in May 2023.

About Caspien Vårdteam

Caspien Vårdteam is a primary care provider that operates Sundsvalls Vårdcentral and Caspien Alnö Vårdcentral, with a total of approximately 12,600 registered patients, equivalent to 13 percent of the population in Sundsvall municipality.

Grant Thornton's view on the transaction

The owner chose Doktor.se due to a combination of an attractive offer and their positive outlook on further investing in the health centers, both in the facilities and in digital solutions. Additionally, Doktor.se already owns a nearby health center, Njurunda Vårdcentral (a sale that Grant Thornton assisted with in 2020), and has a well-established reputation.
