Johanna Widlund is a financial reporting specialist and responsible partner for Financial Reporting Services at Grant Thornton.
Johanna has more than 20 years of experience of accounting and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and Swedish GAAP. She has extensive experience supporting listed and privately owned companies and groups with complex accounting issues and transformation projects.
Johanna has significant experience of:
- Conversions between different accounting frameworks, such as from K3 to IFRS
- Implementation of new and amended accounting standards, including IFRS 18 Presentation and disclosure in financial statements
- Accounting issues related to transactions and restructurings
- Improvement and transformation projects within accounting and financial reporting
- Practical experience of group accounting and financial reporting for companies in listed environment
- Preparations for initial public offerings (IPOs), including listing reviews for Nasdaq Stockholm
Johanna also has experience as lecturer in both internal and external training sessions and is recognized for her ability to translate complex accounting issues into practical solutions for the company.
