Financial advisor to Forslund & Malmström

DANX Carousel has acquired Forslund & Malmström

The owner of Forslund & Malmström ("FOMAB") saw strategic opportunities in partnering with an industrial player and starting to coordinate transports. DANX Carousel, with its previously acquired local company UT Transport i Norr, saw the same mutual opportunities. Grant Thornton acted as financial advisor to the owners of FOMAB, and the sale was completed in December 2023. The former owner continues to work actively within the business. 

About Forslund & Malmström

FOMAB was founded in 2007 and offers transport and logistics services with its headquarters in Töre, Luleå. The company handles a large part of DHL's market in Norrbotten, and the deliveries are often critical with larger industrial companies as end customers.
