Helena Mueller is Director and Head of Sustainability Advisory at Grant Thornton Sweden and a member of Grant Thornton International’s global committee for the development of the sustainability advisory practice. Helena has 25+ years of experience driving strategic and operational sustainability work across all sectors, advising decision‑makers in small, medium and large companies both in Sweden and internationally. She has extensive experience in sustainability reporting and deep expertise in areas such as the EU Taxonomy, CSRD/ESRS, the Clean Industrial Deal, SBTi/climate risk and climate transition plans, social responsibility/EDI/HR/CSDDD, ratings and indices, as well as data collection and assurance of sustainability data.
Helena has a background in the banking and financial sector and is driven by making financial impact and value creation visible from a corporate perspective—while also assessing the financial effects and implications for companies’ assets and financial performance. She has long experience, both as a leader and consultant, in leading, motivating and educating others. She is also a Climate Reality Leader trained by Al Gore.
